The Garvan Research Administration Database can assist researchers with information on:
  • funding opportunities, eligibility, funding rules and application guidelines
  • scholarship and candidature data of PhD, MRes, Honours and UROP students based at Garvan
  • research ethics and governance as determined by the National Statement and Australian Code (NHMRC)
  • IBC approvals for work with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO)

Grant Applications

All applications for research funding must be submitted to the Garvan Research Administration Office and be accompanied by a completed Application Coversheet. Application Coversheets can be downloaded from the Grants intranet page.

The internal closing date for submitting applications to the Garvan Grants Administration Office is one week prior to the due date for application submission unless otherwise advised.
